Snorkeling
Northwest Point is a prime location for underwater sightseeing. Put on a snorkel mask and head to one of these locations to see some beautiful wildlife!
Snorkeling Locations:
Bight Reef: (Coral Gardens)
Bight reef is a vibrantly colored snorkeling location, just over a twenty minute drive from Northwest Paradise. Bight Reef is an optimal place to start, starting right off the shore and stretching along the coast and out into the ocean. See map for directions.
Smith's Reef:
Smith's Reef is another beautiful snorkeling opportunity in Providenciales, with several reef systems and diverse wildlife. Smith's Reef's is about twenty minutes from Northwest Paradise, and is well worth checking out. See map for directions.
Malcolm's Road Beach:
Malcolm's Road Beach is the perfect location for experienced snorkelers. There are many different kinds of colorful fish, and stunning reef systems to protect them. Close to shore, the beach is protected from strong winds, but farther out into the ocean brings more waves with little protection. See map for directions.
Northwest Point National Park:
Northwest Point is comprised of a National Park and a Nature Reserve. Northwest Point isn't great for relaxed swimming, but there is plenty to see underwater in calm conditions. Northwest Point is another location for experienced snorkelers, so if you are a beginner, start at Bight Reef or Smith's Reef.
